Our outreach and mission efforts are guided by two key Scripture passages:

Matthew 28:18-20 - 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Acts 1:8 - [Jesus said,] “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Our goal is to reach out to our community and our world with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. This takes place through local outreach efforts as well as a variety of international venues. We have two goals: 1) evangelism with the purpose of leading people to salvation in Jesus Christ, and 2) relieving human suffering with the purpose of demonstrating the unconditional love of Christ.

Cornerstone has been blessed to have a very active mission program. We support a number of missionaries around the world and we are very active in short-term missions. Youth and adults from the church participate in short-term trips to the Far East, Africa, and South America, as well as a variety of locations domestically. We typically send out 3- 4 teams each year.

Food Pantry - Our emergency food pantry is open every Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm. We gladly give a three day supply of food to help individuals and families get through difficult times. For more information, call the church office (231-845-1285).
