Children's Ministry at Cornerstone exists to connect kids to Christ while partnering with parents for full spiritual transformation. At Cornerstone we offer safe, fun environments where kids will have a blast growing in faith, wisdom and friendship. Each week our goal is to capture kids' imaginations with the Bible and connect them with caring leaders parents can trust. Everything our kids experience throughout the week is designed to make it easier for parents to have spiritual conversations in their home.

Here are a few of the program that we offer for children...

Nursery care is available during both the Sunday school (9:15am) and worship cry room is also available in the back of the sanctuary for infants who get restless.

Sunday School classes for children 2 years old through senior high. Sunday school is a fun opportunity for children to learn the great stories from the Bible and apply them to their lives.

Junior Church is for children 2 years old through 5th grade. Kids are dismissed from the morning worship experience to have time of praise and worship that is age appropriate for them.

AWANA Clubs are for boys and girls in kindergarten through 8th grade. The goal of AWANA Clubs is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. AWANA is held every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:00 September through April. Each evening consists of opening ceremonies followed by three segments: Game Time, Handbook Time (Bible lessons and memorization), and Council Time (Bible stories and crafts).

Daily Vacation Bible School held one week each summer for elementary and junior high children. Each year DVBS is a week of fun activities and exciting Bible lessons that are built around a theme. Every year there is also a mission project that the children learn about and support to help others somewhere in the world.

Summer Camp is a big part of summer activities at Cornerstone. Cornerstone is a part of a conference of churches that owns and operates Center Lake Bible Camp in Tustin, Michigan (near Cadillac). Each year Cornerstone sponsors a week of summer camp for elementary, junior high, and high school students. Many families also participate in family camp.
